I am an MLIS degreed library professional with a passion for sharing how the rapidly evolving technologies of our time will affect and improve virtually every aspect of our lives. We live in a time where the average individual has access to more information than at any other time in the history of our species. As librarians of the 21st century, it is our mission and privilege to guide people in how to navigate, assess, and integrate this often overwhelming torrent of information. My background in digital design, web development, emerging technology, information literacy, and sustainable change informs my mindful but forward thinking approach to librarianship.

Fueled by my passion to understand the nuances of information literacy and the merging of our technologies within society, I am a"life-long student", eager to build on both my academic foundations of Information Science and stay in tune with emerging library and technology trends through continued course work.

My determination to turn information into action has served me well, playing a large part in helping the Ames Free Library to be selected as a best small town library in America 2016 finalist by Library Journal and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation as well as being a featured presenter at Computers in Libraries 2018 National Conference for my work developing GPS enabled self-guided historical and architectural tours through the izi.travel platform.

Working as the Head of Technology & User Experience at the Ames Free Library in North Easton, MA, I leveraged my technological expertise to improve patron experience, modernize processes, and help guide the long term vision of the library.

Currently, I am the Assistant Director of the West Bridgewater Public Library in West Bridgewater, MA.  I was brought aboard in February of 2018 to improve efficiencies, leverage my technological expertise to expand services and programming, and modernize the library's patron resources and internal processes.

I am available for consultation work on all aspects of library technology. Below, please find my resume. For more information please reach out to me via the CONTACT page.
